Baby's First Photo

Ok. So this isn't really the baby. But, I thought it was precious when JJ snuck our Lego family onto the bedroom dresser last night. Funny how we haven't changed out of our wedding get-up in the last year and a half.

The baby really will have his/her first portrait taken next week. Keep your eyes peeled.

Sorry to everyone who has asked for belly pictures. A freak of nature, I suppose, but baby's pushing out only a bump so far. Check back in with me in another month.

16 going on 17

Dear Bean,

We saw your favorite nurse practitioner today. She says you are growing fast and that I will soon have to say goodbye to my jeans and other restrictive wear. I believe her. Just this last week I have noticed a little pouch of a belly that wasn’t there before. She reckons you are about 7 inches long, and we heard your heart beat, which is going 152 beats a minute. Not bad, kid.

As you approach 17 weeks, the question now is, can I stay in my Boston Red Sox sweats forever, or do I actually have to look for some new clothes?
