Every couple of days Daniel decides he should grab the trash can and help pull it across the house. He usually takes it to the front door (if he doesn't get distracted or beaten by the rug).
Nice work Daniel! I'll give you one uncleish tip from all my years of taking out the trash. Start by putting the rug in the trash can, then it's smooth sailing.
I was actually most impressed with his knack for holding the can, closing the lid, and remembering to move his thumb before it got smashed by the lid. That seems like a pretty advanced move to me.
