Daniel's New Home

Daniel said it was okay for me to take up a little space on his blog to tell you all about our new home. Yesterday JJ and I closed on our first house, and we will start moving in tomorrow! (Provided the blizzard we are having today comes to a stop.) It is a great first house with a nice little yard in the back, four little bedrooms (two are "unofficial"), office, and the potential to be lived in for many years to come. The neighborhood is great and the school district is also very good, which is a plus.

Mmmm, Mmmm, Good Deal

Yes. I finally got the blender out to puree my son some yummy meals for the next two weeks. Three sweet potatoes and a bag of peas, plus a little bit of love, and viola! In no time Daniel was in heaven, and our freezer and fridge held the promise of more yummy in his tummy to come.

I'm looking forward to getting a little more creative with my mashing in the weeks to come. I'll keep you posted.

Daniel and Dad Play on the Couch

Daniel really enjoys "rough housing" with JJ now. The video below shows one of the play time sessions on the couch. My favorite part is when Daniel comes up for air in between laughter.

... What can I say, they loved me!
